Our Philosophy
Our philosophy guides our actions (what we do = research, teaching, training, service, etc.). While we do various things every day, knowing why we do what we do is of utmost importance. Otherwise, one could get lost easily, as Hafez Shirazi says (in Persian):
Which (kind of) translates to:
From every direction where I went, I felt more terror. Beware of this desert and of this endless path!
Who can find a destination for this path? For, in its beginning, there are a hundred thousand stages and more!
Yet, at IDEA Lab, a simple rule guides us:
Are we making the world a better place to live in?
If the answer is yes, that is our path! and this will make all the difference, as Robert Frost says:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference!
